Aldine Haviland

HAVILAND, Aldine Marion (née McMahon) – Loving wife of Fred Haviland passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Aldine and Fred met when she worked for Freds parents at Long Point Lodge; they married in Elk Lake on October 1, 1954 and then moved to Bealton, ON where they raised their family. In 1985 they moved to Matachewan where they enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, trapping and travelling.
She will be lovingly missed and forever cherished by her husband Fred Haviland. She was the mother of Darlene (Allen) Tulpin, Randy (Bernice) Haviland, Brenda (Ed) Saul, Sharon (John) Hyde; grandmother of Nicholas (Shelly) Tulpin, Les Tulpin, Tyler and Rylee Haviland, Byron Saul, A.J. (Cassandra) Saul, Amber (Dennis Hyde, Natalie and Patrick (Trish) Hyde; precious great grandmother of Mathieu and Emilie Tulpin, Liam and Molly Tulpin and Conrad Saul. Dearest sister of Norman (Aldine), Allen (Linda), Stephen (Bertha), Dwight (Debbie) McMahon, Joyce (late Ken) Sobol, Darlene (late Raymond) Cormier and Debbie (Gerry) Cormier. Aldine will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Lily Haviland, Martha Haviland and her brother-in-law Richard Kelly. She was predeceased by her father Les McMahon, her mother Mae Clement; her grandson Rodney Tulpin; her sisters Leona Marion and Marilyn Kelly; her brother Morley; her brothers-in-law Jim and Lenard Haviland.
