The family of Alberta Bernice Noble (nee Scott) is sad to announce her passing on September 7th 2017 at St. Peter’s Residence, at Chedoke, 125 Redfern Ave, Hamilton. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Alison E. Noble (1993) of Long Branch (Etobicoke), Toronto and last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her parents John Robert Scott and Sarah Elizabeth Wood of Pugwash, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia and brothers Hilbert, Earl and Ken and sisters Doris in infancy and Mae. Left to treasure their mother’s memory is Scott (Patricia) Noble of Brampton, Alison Laverty of Burlington and Leslie Cooke of Mount Hope. Loving grandmother of Rhiannon (Kelly), Edain (Jeff), Evan (Rachel), Tyson, Michael (Beth), Joanne (Dave), Kyle (Tabatha), Trevor, Michelle; great grandmother of Makenzie, Kennedy, Everett, Ainsley, Taylor, Hunter, Austin, Kaylan, Drew, Colin, Danya, Gabe and Evelyn; great great grandmother of Aurora; also many cousins, nephews and nieces in both Ontario and Nova Scotia. Alberta will be remembered as a volunteer of numerous charities as well as her dedication to Queensway Hospital where she was made a life member for her efforts after volunteering for over 50 years. Visitation on Monday September 11th from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Etobicoke (east of Kipling Ave.). A memorial service will be held on Monday September 25th at 10 am in the Chapel at Ridley Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery at a later time.
