Wittke, Albert J. A. peacefully on Monday, March 13th, 2017 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Cobden at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Myrtle Wittke (Schauer) for 66 years. Loving foster father of Mansel Jamieson. Loving grandfather to Heather (Anthony Davidson), Louise, Morgan & Sybil. Loving great-grandfather to Adelaide & Sutton. Survived by his Brother Gordon (Anne) of Cardinal, Myrtle (late Jay Warhurst) of Michigan, Edna (late Jack Phair) of B.C., Dorothy (Donald Bart) of Stratford, Marylin (late Darcy Felhaber) of Lindsay. Albert is predeceased by his brother Norman (Gladys) as well as his sister Mildred.
Friends may call at Zohr Funeral Home, Eganville on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and again on Friday from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral service to Zion Lutheran Church, Augsburg at 11:00 am. Spring interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Augsburg .
