Peacefully passed away at Trillium Health Centre on Friday, December 9th, 2016, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of 71 years to Leona. Loving father to Cheryl (Bill) and Michael (Lois). Loving grandpa to David, Melissa (Mauro), Matthew (Atoosa), Charlette (Gianluca) and Christian (predeceased). Cherished papa to Nicole, Laura, Jordan, Malina, Brandan, Sofia, Shailene (Ryan) and Jeremy. Proud poppy to Keira and Melody. A special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Trillium Health Centre. Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Life at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on Monday from 1:00 ~ 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trillium Foundation (Respiratory Services). Messages of Condolence may be placed at RidleyFuneralHome.com.
