The family wishes to
announce the passing of Albert Lanteigne, husband of Mabel (Pinet)
Lanteigne of Picot Ave. and formerly of Dumaresq St., which occurred
at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Wednesday, February 1,
2017 at the age of 81.
Born in Bellledune, he was
the son of the late Alphonse and Ann Marie (Pitre)
Lanteigne.
He worked underground at
Brunswick Mines for over 26
years.
Besides his wife Mabel, he
is survived by one daughter, Ann-Marie Lanteigne of Bathurst and one
son Gary (Nadine) of Edmonton,
AB.
Two grandchildren:
David Albert of BC and Melanie Anne of Edmonton, AB. One great
grandchild, Hendrix.
One brother, Hector (Ethel)
of Dunlop and two sisters: Elizabeth Lanteigne and Margaret
Lanteigne both of Belledune. Several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by
brothers, Elric, Alphonse, Alex, Leonard, Tales and
Andrew.
There will be no visitation
at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be
celebrated at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2016 from the Elhatton
Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
