ALBERT KNAB (1952 – 2017)
Suddenly, in Bracebridge on Sunday, August 13, 2017, Albert Knab of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Marion (Muth) Knab. Proud and loving father of his two sons Marshall and his wife Shirlei of Milton and Anthony and his wife Marilia of London. Cherished grandfather of Julia and Bianca. Dear son of Viktor and Anna Knab of Tillsonburg and brother of Marian Muth and her husband Ed of Courtland. Uncle to Tom, Nick, Michelle and their families. Albert is also survived by his mother-in-law Caroline Muth of Tillsonburg and brother-in-law Richard Muth and his wife Deb of London. Predeceased by his father-in-law Conrad Muth. Albert’s working career consisted of Tobacco Farmer, Businessman and Professor. He was deeply involved with the Tillsonburg Multi-Service Centre and he was a member of the Tillsonburg Rotary Club. He shared his love for life and his positivity with everyone he met but Albert’s greatest devotion was to his family. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Albert will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tom Ferrera and Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment to follow in Guysboro Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg Multi-Service Centre or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the Knab family.
