SMITH, Alastair Marshall Ingram—
After a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in his 40th year. Beloved son of Ken and Sandra. Loving brother of Niall and his fiancée Donna. Favourite uncle to his niece Emma. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff of Hospice Wellington, Guelph General Hospital and Bayshore Home Health for their kindness, compassion and care during his journey.
Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, for visitation on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Alastair’s life will follow in our chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation and a private family interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated by the family. Cards are available at the funeral home at (519)821-5077.
