On December 30, 2016 the world lost another great man at the North Shore Health Network, Blind River, Ontario surrounded by family and friends. Aime Samuel Phillips in his 65th year, beloved soulmate and best friend of Cheryl for 45 years. Dearest Daddy of Jodie Lind (Bill) and Heather Koch (Douglas). Poppa to his four granddaughters who were the apple of his eye; Darcie and Reilly Lind and Amelia and Jillian Koch. Son of the late Aime and Elise Phillips and Theresa Guillemette (late Maurice). Special son-in-law of Shirley Vine (late Bud Vine and late Roy Merritt ). Brother of Ruth Chapman ( Ed ), Elise Wilkins ( Wayne ), Julie Wilson ( Paul ), Monique Delorme ( Roger ), Helene Graff ( Gerald ), Giselle Laurin ( Arthur ), Dennis Guillemette ( Gloria ), Patrick Guillemette and the late Bucko Phillips ( Lorilee ) and Evelyn Cadeau ( Allen ). Brother-in-law to Brenda Bishop (Harold and late Randy) and Marcia Larente (Kevin Stewart). Uncle too many nieces and nephews. Special uncle to Brian Houle (Angela) and Michael Houle (Sarah). God Father to Keira Lee Larente. Special friend to many, too numerous to mention. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 1pm with The Reverend Dr Paul Stemp officiating. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
