Obituary for Agnes Podloski
It is with profound sadness the family of Agnes Podloski announces her passing on December 2 at the age of 86 years.
Agnes will always be cherished by her loving daughter, Geri (Gary) Zimmel. Agnes took great pride and joy in her two grandsons, Ryan (Kristy) Thresher and Blake (Ester) Thresher; and four great-grandchildren, Summer, Ryder, Evan and Ethan. Agnes is survived by sisters, Rose, Martha, Helen, Lorraine, and Donna; and brother, Pat. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Peter; her father and mother, Joseph and Mary Moric; brothers, Albert, Joe, Vincent, Stan, and Paul Moric; and sisters, Mary Dextraze and Rose Moric.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407 – 60 Avenue, Edmonton. Reverend Marc Cramer officiating with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the love, care and compassion shown to Agnes at Copper Sky Lodge in Spruce Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson’s Society of Alberta, #102 – 5636 – Burbank Crescent SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1Z6
