Passed peacefully away on Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at the Health Science Complex surrounded by his loving family, Adrian Joseph Cahill, aged 76. (Retired Sergeant Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC)). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Elizabeth; sisters Josephine (Syl) Fagan, Uriel (Larry) Fagan, brother John and Frank; brothers-in-law Bob (Veronica) Skinner and George (Ruby) Skinner, nephews Frank, Bren and Randy Fagan, Ricky and Hilary Gibbons. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife and best friend of 52 years, Anne; sons, Patrick (Deanne) and David (LuAnne) and daughter Jacinta (Dave) Kelly; cherished grandchildren Jessica, Rebecca, Madison, David and Ryan; brothers Mike (Madeline) and Pad (Anita); sisters Betty (Lawrence) Butler and Margaret (Hilary) Gibbons; sisters-in-law Catherine (John, deceased), Geraldine (Frank, deceased), Emily (Maurice) Colbourne, Shirley (Ross) Drew, Frances Pike; brothers-in-law Newman (Sylvia) Skinner; dear friends and neighbours Dennis and Daphne Butler, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the staff of 4 North B and Dr. Bohacek at the Health Science Complex for their exceptional care. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay on Wednesday, December 13th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, December 14th at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay with cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Friday, December 15th at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery, St. Mary’s Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Adrian’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
