Obituary for Achilles Howatt Joseph Ellis Spence
Achilles Howatt Joseph Ellis Spence was born on September 10, 2017 to Jilliette (Noreen Marie) Linklater and to Mark (Aldrich Hans Angus) Spence.
Honorary Godparents: Ariel Cook, Morgan Pielak, Georgina Spence, and James O’Rourke.
Achilles was a young spirit who blessed us with his love for only a short time.
Our families are grateful to have been part of his life for the short time he was on this earth.
Forever you will live in ours heart Achilles.
Achilles loved music and anyone that sang to him. He would smile and baby talk. MAYBE HE WAS TRYING TO SING. His aunts and uncles would love holding Achilles and would only give him back to his mother when he needed feeding. He made everyone he met feel good, comfortable and warm. Always needed to be held, cuddled, hugged and kissed. He did have hairy ears and chubby kissable checks, that was so adorable.
On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Jilliette and Mark took part in a Sweat. During the Sweat a traditional name was given to Achilles, Spirit Cloud Boy. The parents were told that every time they look into the clouds and they see the thin light layer of clouds, that is the spirit of Spirit Cloud Boy coming to visit and be with them. A sacred fire has been lit for Spirit Cloud Boy`s to open the porthole, to the heavens. This will allow the prayers to be sent from this world into the spirit world and vice versa. The journey to the spirit world has now begun. We will meet you again.
