ST-IGNACE, NB –
Abraham Robichaud, 77, passed away peacefully at la Villa Maria,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, June 12th, 2017. Born in St-Ignace, he
was the son of the late Antoine and Flora (Johnson) Robichaud and the
adopted son of the late Gerard
Johnson.
Abraham will be sadly missed by his wife, Stella; his
four sisters, Jeannette Daigle (Livain) of St-Ignace, Flora Johnson of
Montreal, QC, Diane Johnson (Ovila) of Moncton and Linda Johnson of
Barachois; his three brothers, Clarence Robichaud of Halifax, NS,
Gerard Robichaud (Germaine) of St-Ignace and Alpha Robichaud (Celina)
of Ontario; three sisters-in-law, Jeannine Doucet (Alphonse) of
Bathurst, Geraldine Johnson (late Gerard) of St-Ignace and Sandy
Robichaud (late Jerry) of Ontario; three brothers-in-law, Jean LeBlanc
of Dieppe, Ulysse LeBlanc (late Carole) of Moncton and Dollard LeBlanc
of St-Antoine; as well as many nieces and
nephews
Besides his parents, Abraham is predeceased by an
infant sister, Robea and a brother, Jerry.
Visitation will be held at
Thompson’s Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on Friday
from 2:00pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 4:00pm,
St-Ignace-de-Loyola Roman Catholic Church,
St-Ignace.
Donations in Abraham’s memory made to the
Alzheimer Society or to the St-Ignace-de-Loyola Parish would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
