“Alicia” Rose Lynch
1933-2017
In her 84th year, Alicia Rose Lynch (nee
Pineau) died peacefully, surrounded by love, on December 23, 2017 at
Prince County Hospital, Summerside, recently resided at Clinton View
Lodge and formerly of Borden-Carleton. Alicia was
born on May 8,1933 in Bloomfield, PEI to her late parents, Urban and
Virginia (LeClair) Pineau. Predeceased by her husband
Gregory Lynch. Survived by her children: Bonnie Rogerson,
Lawrence (Anna Marie) Lynch, Anne Marie (Roger) Shea, Lee Lynch (John
Coombs), Virginia Lynch and Michael (Shannon Lyle) Lynch. Loving
“Nanny” to 10 grandchildren and “Meme” to eight
great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters, Bernadette Noonan and
Elaine Olsen; sisters-in-law, Mildred Pineau, Audrey Pineau, Shirley
(Jerome) McNeill, Mary Lynch, Patricia Lynch and brother-in-law
Bernard (Marjorie) Lynch, as well as numerous nieces and
nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband,
sisters, Viola, Theresa, Marie, Yvonne and brothers Reginald and
Clarence. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora with no
visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Peter’s
Church, Seven Mile Bay on Saturday, December 30 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment in St Peter’s Cemetery. If so desired, memorial
donations may be made to St. Peter’s Cemetery Fund or East Prince Home
Care and Support.
