1925-2017
With appreciation for a life well-lived, the family of Edna
R. Murray, loving wife of 67 years to the late Douglas A. Murray,
announces her passing, which occurred on Monday, December 25, 2017 at
the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Three Brooks, NB on
September 7, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Hilda
(Lambert) Cawthra.
Edna will be missed by her children: Linda Hunter (Carl),
John Murray (Glenna), Pamela Beam, Rebecca Maxwell (Eric) and Ann
Spragg (Frank); a sister, Dorothy Miles (Albert); as well as several
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In
addition to her parents and husband, Edna was predeceased by two
sisters, Mary MacLaggan (Donald) and Joanna Harris (Carroll).
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A celebration of
Edna’s life will be held from Brenan’s Funeral
Home Chapel on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers,
remembrances may be made to any charity of the donor’s
choice.
