Deanna Renee Cyr, born on January 11, 1980, at Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, passed away on Friday December 22, 2017. She is survived by her children- Jadav Cyr, Jacova Cyr, Jariah Cyr, Journey Cyr-Ivey, Jasmine Cyr-Ivey, Mother- Brenda Cyr, Father- Robert Gambler Sr. (Patricia), Sister- Carrie McNab-Gopher (Keith), Brothers- Terrance Cyr, Rob Gambler, Step Brothers- Julian and Colten Nahnepowisk, Ronnie and Cory Thorn, adopted sisters- Carol and Rachelle (Russell) Thorn, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. She was predeceased by her kokom Irene Gambler, mosoom Douglas Sparvier; great grandparents John and Jessie Gambler, Julia and Stanley Shingoose; grandpa Winston Shingoose, uncle Max Cyr; aunts Loretta Cyr and Anita Gambler; cousin Nelson Gambler Jr. She will be deeply missed.
A viewing for Regina based friends and family will be held Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 143 Hodsman Road in Regina, SK from 12 noon to 2 pm. Wake will be begin same day in the new gym, George Gordon First Nation at 4 pm. Funeral Service will be held Thursday December 28 in the new gym, George Gordon First Nation, at 1 pm. Interment in St. Lukes Cemetery with feast to follow back at the gym.
