Audrey GOODALE Hunt SHARPE December 20 2017

December 20 2017
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Audrey on Dec. 20, 2017 at the age of 89.
She is survived by her son, Peter; daughter, Barbara (Eric); son-in-law, Terry Peters; grandchildren, Aaron (Kyung-Hee), Allison (Lester), Bhreagh, Taylor and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands, I.R (Pete) Goodale and Donald Sharpe. Also predeceased by her loving daughter, Valli Goodale Peters.
Audrey was one of the first women to graduate from Dalhousie University with a degree in Pharmacy. She was an avid sports fan. The Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs have lost a dedicated longtime fan. Her mind was sharp, her wit and sass were her characteristics. She completed her last crossword puzzle days before her death.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Greg Myatt for the medical attention over the years. Audrey had the highest respect for him and we the family are truly grateful. Thank you to the Regional Hospital staff on 4B and ICU, and a special”thank you” to her dear friend, Mona MacIntyre who she considered “like a daughter”.
At Audrey’s request, there will be no service. The family will gather together in remembrance of her over the holidays. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
In remembrance of her, please take a deep breath of fresh air.
