Diana lost her brief but courageous battle with cancer on Sunday December 17, 2017. She kept a brave face those few weeks while we felt our hearts break.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 50yrs, Vincent Massey, in January 2014.
She was a wonderful & loving mom who will be remembered by her children Raymond (Pamela) & their son Samuel; Michael (Deidre) & their children Kyle & Jade; & Tanya (Chris) Albury. She will also be missed by her brother Jim Wright (Laurie) of Vancouver; brother & sister in law Mel & Peggy Massey of Duncan; numerous nieces and nephews & of course her many dear friends including Russ Styba.
Diana worked several jobs during her career in administrative & secretarial roles including Cowichan Sr. Secondary & the Community Centre Box Office. Of course all while she was raising her 3 children.
Of her many passions and creative talents were her beautiful knitting & crochet work, numerous crafts & sewing, collecting antiques & vintage finds and her love of baking.
We will miss her great sense of humour, her kindness & her beauty but most of all her company & her presence.
She was a strong woman who we admire and thank her for instilling her own great qualities & raising us to be the best person we could each be.
There will be a Celebration of her Life at the Duncan Community Lodge (formerly the Moose), 2244 Moose Road, Duncan, BC on Saturday, January 6th from 12-3pm. Please stop by to share a story and enjoy some refreshments.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at CDH, RJH, & CHCC.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Massey Diana August 5 1942
