On Saturday December 16, 2017, our beloved Karl Heinz was taken unexpectedly to be with our Heavenly Father. He will be remembered as a devoted husband to Anna, his wife of 58 years; a loving father to Deana (Geoff), John (Jennifer), and James (Colleen); a caring Opa to Jenn, Ken, Katie, and Robert, and an inspiration to numerous family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at HIGHWOOD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 419 Northmount Drive NW, Calgary on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The family respectfully declines flowers, but if friends so desire, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke, www.heartandstroke.ca. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
