Florence Evelyn (Goodwin) Fuller – of
Kentville, formerly of Avonport, passed away on Saturday, December 16,
2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville at the age of 97. Born
in Magdalen Islands, Quebec on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1920, she was a

after her maternal grandmother. She was the last surviving member of
her immediate family. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 44

sister; brothers, Willis (Esther) Goodwin, Elmer (Lois) Goodwin) and
Winston (Mary) Goodwin. She is survived by several nieces and nephews;
step-daughter, Jane Fuller, Coldbrook; step grandson, Nigel (Preety)
Selig and their daughter Leyla, Ottawa, Ontario; step granddaughter,
Julia (Mike) Spence and their daughter, Ainsley, Victoria, British

responsible for preparing Farmers and Fisheries Broadcasts each day.
On September 1, 1962 she married Burpee Fuller and moved to Ontario
where they each worked for the Federal Government for over 30 years in
Ottawa and London, Ontario. Following their retirement they moved to
Avonport, Nova Scotia near the family farm Burpee had grown up on.
They had many wonderful years there enjoying organic produce from
their gardens. Aunt Evelyn was a wonderful aunt; always so kind and
thoughtful to others. She always put others before herself. In October
2016 Evelyn was presented with her Torch Bearers Ritual from ETA
Master Chapter. This is the final degree that signifies a long
commitment to the ideals of Beta Sigma Phi. In November 2016 Evelyn

honored Evelyn as a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi. The family would
like to thank Michael and Yewen Walsh and the staff at Wedgewood House
