Obituary for Robert “Bob” Taylor
Peacefully with his family by his side at Riverview Terrace on Saturday December 16, 2017. Bob Taylor in his 83rd year. Beloved husband for 54 years of the late Thora (2012) Blakeley. Loving father to to Paul and his wife Hope, Mike and his wife Lynn, and Katherine and her husband Patrick. Dear grandad to Kaitlin, Ruby, Adam, Emma and Liam. Godfather to Mary Jane Dickenson. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Bob had a long history of community service, he was a former principal, a city councillor and served as the Mayor of the City of Brantford from 1991 to 1994. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 1 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Parkinson Society appreciated.
