Michael John Bellas March 19, 1946 – December 13, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce our world traveler, Michael John Bellas, passed away suddenly December 13, 2017 after a brief illness. Michael was born in Accrington, UK in 1946 and was predeceased by his parents Monica and Leonard Bellas and his sister Allison. He is survived by son, Andrew, daughter-in-law, Lesley and cherished granddaughters Ashley and Jennifer. When Mike immigrated to Canada in 1974, Muriel Fisher “Auntie” and family helped him immensely settle here in B.C. Mike received his chef training in England before moving to Canada.
