Gary George Carville December 15 2017

December 15 2017
Carville, Gary George – It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear husband and soul mate Gary, age 53, of Dartmouth, on December 15, 2017. Gary fought cancer for two years as only he could, with grace and humour.
Born in St. John’s, N.L., Gary was a son of the late William and Margaret (Hatfield) Carville. Gary was a former member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders, Wild Hogs, Kin Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada. He was known for his sense of humour and quick wit.
Gary is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kim (Brennan); brother, Byron (Lisa); sister, Martina (Mark) Keating; special nieces, Kelly Fitzpatrick and Laura Carville; nephew, Michael Keating; and of course, his fur babies, Chicklett and Gomi; and dear friends.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. As per Gary’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 21, at 2 p.m. in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 15 Caledonia Rd., Dartmouth. Burial and Celebration of Life will take place in St. John’s, N.L. in January. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gary Carville Legacy Fund, c/o The Kin Club of Halifax, 948 South Bland St., Halifax, NS B3H 2S5.
