Carl Ross Baker
Baker, Carl Ross, age 58, died on December 15, 2017, in Dartmouth General Hospital.
Son of late Raleigh and Arlowene Baker, he was born in Halifax NS 8 April 1959.
He is survived by his partner of 18 years, Margaret “Maggie” Swanson; children, Jake (Melissa), Leigh, Jessica and Stephen; six grandchildren; brothers, Leigh (Cathy), Darrell (Tammy) and several nieces and nephews.
Carl worked a Shell Canada in Calgary leaving in 1980 to come home. He worked at Canada Post, at various courier companies and most recently as a Traffic control person. He had a passion for Harleys and his Ford truck. He also loved to play pool at The Hub and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday December 19, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
