SMITH, Annie ‘Mary’ – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday December 15, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Howard F. Smith (2009). Dearly loved mother of Chris (Brad) Maves and the late Howie Smith. Cherished mother-in-law of Ghislaine. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Lee and Michael (Alexandra ) Maves and Christopher (Jess) and Shanen Smith. Cherished great-grandmother of William, Joseph, Jack and Cameron. Dear sister of Jean Venzon and Margaret Styles. Predeceased by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Mary will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was a proud Cub leader at St. Ann’s Church and a devoted CWL member at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Monday 3:30 to 7:30 pm. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
