Obituary of Bernard Taraba
TARABA, BERNARD: At St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, December 14, 2017, Bernard Taraba passed away at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Foster) for 53 years. Loving father of Lisa (Steve Deighton), Mark, Linda, Helen (Daryl Boyd), and David (Gissele). Cherished grandfather of Foster, Chloe, Milena, Liam, Enzo, Aiden, and Sophie. Also survived by his brothers Bill and Emil. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, December 18 from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy which will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 166 West Street, Smithville at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church can be made through the funeral home.
