Mr. Ronald Salisbury
Salisbury: Ronald (Ron) A resident of Merlin, Ron Salisbury passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday December 13th, 2017 at the age of 82. Son of the late George and Beama-Faye (nee Lewis) Salisbury. Loving partner and best friend for over 50 years of Brenda Marsh. Dear father to Paul (and Betty), Randy, Marlin (and Doreen), Rhonda (and Jerome) Quenneville, Gary, and Gail (and Tony) Almeida. Predeceased by his brother Edward of Chatham, Barbara McCrae of Chatham, and Robert Earl Salisbury. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren Monique Washnuk (nee Quenneville), Jennifer Salisbury, Jean Paul Quenneville, Marcel Quenneville, Madelaine Quenneville, Emily Salisbury, Melisa Salisbury, Brian Almeida, Colleen Van Hooste (nee Salisbury), and Amanda Almeida, and four great grandchildren Taylor Quenneville, Lilianne Washnuk, Alexa Quenneville and Alexandre Washnuk. Ron will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Ron retired in 1995 from Green Giant in Tecumseh after more than 30 years as a stationary engineer for the food processing plant. As an avid fisherman he enjoyed taking time to be quiet out on the boat with friends and the boys. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St W. Chatham 519 -352- 2710 on Sunday December 17th with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home on Monday December 18th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Koppes officiating. Cremation has taken place with interment to take place at a later date. Memorial donations to honour Ron’s life can be made to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in support Dialysis program expansion or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Visitation: Sunday December 17th from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m.
A Celebration of Life: Monday December 11:00 a.m.
Officiating: Pastor Michael Koppes
Cremation has taken place.
