John “Jack” Pirie
1939-2017
John “Jack” Pirie of South Tilley, NB, passed away
peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on December 11,
2017.
Jack was born in South Tilley, NB, on July 24, 1939. He was the son of
the late Hubert and Mildred (Griffin) Pirie. Jack leaves behind his
wife of 48 years, Rosalie Pirie (Mahoney); his daughter, Margaret
Pirie of Mineville, NS; his sons, Michael Pirie (Cathy) of Woodstock,
NB, and Robert Pirie (Tobi) of Woodstock, NB,; his grandchildren,
Jackson, Andrew, Jack, and Trinity; his sister, Vivian Bolstridge of
Perth-Andover, NB; his brothers, William Pirie (Maxine) of South
Tilley, NB, Frank Pirie (Geneva) of Gladwyn, NB.
Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 6414.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday 6:30 –
8:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at
10:30 am from St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Father Gilbert
Doddatto celebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a
later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society of
Canada or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.

Perth-Andover.
