Obituary for Joyce Symington
On December 7, 2017, Joyce Symington of Calgary, formerly of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 82 years.
Joyce is survived by her son, David (Marlene); four grandchildren, Travis, Sara, James and Alyssa; and one sister, Esther Linquist. Predeceased by her husband, Ross; son, Norman; and sisters, Ruby and Dorothy.
The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Extendicare Hillcrest and Beaver Dam Lodge for their kindness, care and compassion.
Funeral Service Thursday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Reverend Sarah Holstrome officiating with interment in Westlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Camp Health, Hope and Happiness, P.O. Box 182, Seba Beach, AB T0E 2B0.
