The death of Edith Hickey of Lorne occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Friday, December 08, 2017 at the age of 66. Born in Lorne, she was the daughter of Edmond and Hilda (Lavigne) O’Brien.
Edith is survived by her husband Valmond, children Barbara LaPointe (Donnie) of Gravelhill, Conrad O’Brien of Bathurst, Noreen Hickey (Leslie Godin) of Lorne, Matthew Hickey (Rebecca Koot) of Riverview; 12 grandchildren,; 7 great grandchildren as well as her sister Effie Doucet and brother Lionel O’Brien.
Her funeral will be held from St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11 am with visitation at the Lorne funeral Parlour Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 as well as Tuesday from 10 until 10:45. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
