Obituary of Jean Courts
Regina Maria “Jean” Courts (née Ford) of Teeswater, passed away peacefully, at Wingham and District Hospital on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 in her 74th year.
Born in Bell Island, Newfoundland on January 9th, 1944.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Courts who predeceased her in 2011.
Dear mother of Geraldine Brodt of Teeswater.
Missed by her grandchildren, Michael Courts (Laura) and Katelyn Brodt, step-niece Mary and great-grandsons Tyson and Bentley.
Cherished daughter of Mary Ford of Newfoundland.
Dear sister of Alice and Charles Hanarhan of St. Phillips, Gordon and Darlene Ford of Mississauga, Maureen and Keith Bullock of Flesherton, Gerry and Kathy Ford of Bell Island, Ron and Jackie Ford of Bell Island, Lorraine and Fred Crane of Erin, Jerome and Kim Ford of Norval, Michael and Marylin Ford of Caledon, Sharon and Morris Madore of Brampton, Jacqueline Ford of Bell Island and Judith and George Pitts of Bell Island.
Fondly remembered by her god-daughter Dianne Mills, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Predeceased by her father Bill Ford, son-in-law Wayne Brodt and sister Dianne Ford.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Monday, December 11th, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Father Michael Anderson as celebrant.
Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Teeswater Town Hall Renovation Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
