Marguerite (Maggie) Atkins passed away with her son at her side on December 4, 2017 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Maggie was born in Nelson, BC.
Maggie worked over 30 years as a Care Aide at Kiro Wellness and Columbia View Lodge. She volunteered her time with Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed helping people but her greatest love was her 2 grandkids.
Maggie is predeceased by her parents Reginald and Natalie Atkins. She is survived by her son Aaron and her grandchildren Tianna and Caedyn.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery, with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Maggie’s name may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Parish at 2012 3rd Avenue, Trail, BC, V1R 1R7.

Thank you to all who have given myself and my kids support over these past two years with my mom. This morning she passed peacefully resting and in no pain. She will be missed by all who she has touched throughout her life. Thank you to all from my family.
