Smith, Kenneth Andrew
1920 – 2017
Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, December 2nd 2017, age 97 years of Conception Bay South. Predeceased by parents Jacob and Mildred, wife Mildred, daughter Gail, brothers Eugene, Cyril, Jake, Ernest, and Norman; sister Marion Barrett, brother-in-law Roy Haines. Left with fond and loving memories, daughters Lynn Quinlan (Walter), Laurie Molloy, sons Wayne (Phyllis), Randy (Frances), son- in- law Claude Blagdon. Grandchildren Andrew, Peter, Christopher, Angela, Kenneth, Trevor, Michelle, Roxanne, Amanda and their families, including thirteen great grandchildren, sisters Susie, Marjorie, Viola, and Muriel, Brother Winston, sisters-in-law Bernice, and Betty Rowe (Harry) as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Visitation at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, December 4th, 2017 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, Tuesday, December 5th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at 11:00am from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap. Special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff on 4SouthB, Health Sciences Complex and the staff at Admiral’s Coast Retirement Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ken’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
