Passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at age 51. Predeceased by her parents Ronald Martin (1992) and Frances Careen Martin (2017), her grandparents Ronald and Myrtle Martin and Fred and Gladys Careen. Leaving to mourn her daughter Shauna Tobin (Patrick O’Rielly) son Matthew Tobin, brother Ron (Ronnie) Martin and the children’s father, Peter Tobin. Aunts from the Martin family, Wanda Murphy (Tim), Barbra Whelan (Terry) and Marilyn Kreiger (Jack – deceased); aunts and uncles from the Careen family, Amelia Careen, Pauline Careen (Jim), Rosemary Careen – deceased (Neal), Vera Stewart, Louise Careen (Stan), Mike Careen (Mary), Brian Careen (Kay) and Martin Careen. Best friend, Angela Patten; as well as many other family, friends and fellow animal lovers and volunteers in the animal rescue community, especially from Purfect Purrs Cat Rescue. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Monday, December 4th from 2 – 9pm. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, December 5th at 2pm from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations in her name to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or to an animal rescue.
