Mary E. Dickson
Mary Elizabeth Dickson, widow of the late Benson Dickson, of the Foyer Assumption Nursing Home, Rogersville and formerly of Napan, passed away at her residence on Thursday afternoon, November 30, 2017, at the age of 69.
Born in Chatham, on December 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Margaret (Silliker) Dickson. She was a homemaker; a former member of Carmel United Church U.C.W.; a former member of the Napan Women’s Institute and was Roman Catholic by Faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolee Malley (Kenneth) and Kim Dickson (Jancsi), all of Miramichi; two sons, Craig Dickson (Marjorie), of Comox, B.C. and Kirk Dickson (Gail), of Strathmore, AB; one brother, Darwin Dickson, of St. Catherines, Ont.; fourteen grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Laurie, Aaron, Jennifer, Alicia, Brienna, Alex, Bridget, Brittany, Brooke, Nick, Benjamin, Megan; three great grandchildren, Keegan, Logan and Sophia. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Benson.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 4, 2017, at 4 pm, conducted by Father Claude Daigle. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi.
