Rita Catherine Breau
1925-2017
It is with sadness that the family of Rita Breau announces
her death at Hospice Fredericton on November 29, 2017 at the age of
92. Born in South Nelson, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on November 7,
1925, she was the wife of the late Joseph Romeo Breau.
Rita leaves behind her sons, Wayne Breau (Debbie) of Elliot
Lake, ON, and Kevin Breau (Kathy) of Denbigh, ON; daughters, Dianne
Travers (John) of Lower Sackville, NS, and Noreen Nason of New
Maryland, NB; grandchildren, Tara Rourke, Christopher Breau,
Christopher Travers, Lisa Nason, Lindsay Nason, Jason Breau, and
Suzanne Breau; great-grandchildren, Evan, Dylan, Molly and Claire; and
brother, Blair Nixon. In addition her husband, Joseph, Rita was
predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Flora (Hubbard) Nixon, and her
siblings.
There will be no visitation or service as per
Rita’s request. Interment will take place in St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church Cemetery, South Nelson, at a later
date. For those who wish, donations in Rita’s memory can be
made to Hospice Fredericton.
