Obituary for Edward Shpur
On November 28, 2017, Edward Shpur of Pigeon Lake passed away at the age of 79 years.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Georgina; four daughters, Arlene Hasenbank, Donna (Domenic) Tassone, Pam Shpur and Tanya (Brad) Milne; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Erin (Trevor) Katie, Alysia, Matthew (Alana), Michelle, Jordan and Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Tayden; two sisters, Mary and Olga; one brother, Morris (Shirley); mother-in-law, Anne; and extended family. Predeceased by mother and father, Anton and Anne Shpur; son-in-law, Ron Hasenbank; sister, Doris; brother-in-laws, Andy Hrabowski, John Beyak, Jack Burnham and Roy Mossop; and father-in-law, Michael Harasym.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday, December 3 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue.
Funeral Rite Monday, December 4 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 – 107 Street, Edmonton with Right Reverend Father Stephan Semotiuk officiating.
