Percy C. Woodman
1932 ~ 2017
Percy Clark Woodman, 85, of Falmouth, Hants County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Hants Community Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Falmouth, he was the son of the late Walter and Cora (Fletcher) Woodman.
Percy had been in the Canadian Armed Forces for 32 years. He loved gardening and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Percy enjoyed the family gatherings and special times he spent with his family.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joan Spence; daughters, Cindy (Leo) Gavel, Newport Station; Heather (George) Cameron, Alberta; Joy (Ronnie) MacCormack, Falmouth; grandchildren, Renee (Peter) Durant; Nathan (Jennifer) Gavel; Brandi (Lynden) Morrison; Nova MacCormack, Caitlin Cameron, Chet MacCormack, Drew MacCormack, Colton Gavel; great grandchildren, Brooke Morrison, Jaxon Durant, Rylee Gavel, Ryker Morrison; sister, Doreen, New Glasgow; brothers, Earl, Berwick; Cyril, Windsor; Walter (Sarah), Truro; Keith (Leonore),Falmouth; Garnet (Betty), Manitoba; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by son, Robert in infancy; brothers, Ralph, John; sisters, Elsie and Glenna.
A private immediate family graveside service will be held in the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Falmouth. Celebrant Helen Lindsay will officiate.
Donations in Percy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. To have a donation card placed, please call Lindsay’s (902-798-2232).
