Passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, in her 79th year. Helen beloved wife of Joseph Edward “Eddie” Gallant of Orillia. Loving mother of Christine & husband Rick Bush of Orillia, Gordon Gallant & wife Sandra Cabral of Caledon and Arnold Gallant of Orillia. Also loved by her grandchildren Taylor, Megan & Jordan, Kylie & Kelsie. Dear sister of Edward “Sonny” McCabb (Phyllis) of Ajax, Geraldine Nicholson (Floyd) of Moncton, N.B., Garth (predeceased), Betty (predeceased)(J. Samuel) of Guelph, Doly DiFlorio of P.E.I., Gary McCabb of Mississauga, Chevi Murphy (Randy) of Mississauga and Danny McCabb of P.E.I. Helen will be survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday, November 29th from 12 noon – 1:45 pm. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment: St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com
