Bowman, Doris Ruth
Passed away peacefully with
family at her side at the St. Mary’s General Hospital on Thursday November 23,
2017. Beloved wife to Harold for 66 years. Loving mother to David
(Bonnie Lee) Bowman, Ruth Anne (Roger) Bowman, Philip (Brenda) Bowman.
Devoted grandma to Jenny Lee, Lindsay, Tyler, Kelsey, Matthew, Michelle, Corey,
Curtis, and Catrina. Also fondly remembered by her 15 great
grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Carolyn (1959), and her
parents David and Elvina Bearinger (nee Shantz) also predeceased by her
siblings; a twin brother in infancy, Urias Bearinger, Vernon Bearinger, Vera
Martin, Almeda Snider. Survived by her in laws Stuart and Ruth Bowman,
Alex and Enid Crowley. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be
received at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home 2723 Victoria St. N. Breslau
(Kitchener) (519) 904-0400, on Sunday November 26, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m.
Family and friends will also be
received at the funeral home on Monday November 27, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held in
the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday November 27, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the
Mennonite Central Committee or Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. will be
appreciated by the family.
