In Loving Memory
Gerald Paterson “Pat” Dunlap passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 98. Pat was a veteran of the Second World War with many years in the reserves, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Beers) Dunlap (2017). Born in St-John NB, he was the son of the late Gerald B Dunlap and the late Helen (Paterson) Dunlap.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter: Lynn Dunlap; his son: David Dunlap; his step-children: Darla (Ron) Matheson, Terrance “Terry” Fearon and Claude Fearon; as well as his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife Barbara, he was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer (Gordon “Butch”) Lucas, step-son Brian Fearon and brother Donald (Joan) Dunlap.
A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery.
Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
