SNELL, Wilfred Eugene “Gene” With great sadness, we announce the passing of Wilfred Eugene “Gene” Snell, age 78 on November 21, 2017 in Dartmouth. Gene was born June 22, 1939 and was raised in Dartmouth, the son of the late Ronald and Elizabeth (Jennings) Snell. He worked at Sobeys until his retirement in 1994. Gene and his wife Veronica then moved to New Ross and operated the Foodland, where he became involved in the communities of New Ross and East Dalhousie. Gene was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting and woodworking. Gene also enjoyed being outdoors and spending time at Lake Torment boating, swimming, hunting and fishing in…
