Obituary for Marvin Whitford Gill
GILL, Marvin Whitford – Passed away peacefully at his home in Gravenhurst, with his wife Pauline by his side, on Monday, November 20th, 2017 in his 81st year. Marvin was the beloved husband of Pauline (Plaxton), Gill of 61 years. Loving father of Debbie Eccles (Randy), the late Darrel Gill, and Sherry Hubbert (Don). Cherished grandfather of the late April Dupuis, Kevin Eccles (Brenda), Sarah Wilson (Sean), Amy Briscoe (Dylan), the late Becky Hubbert, Ashley LeMay (Justin), and Jeremy Hubbert (Ashley). Great grandfather of Cameron, Caleb, Emma, Aaron, Mia, Blake, Tyson, Graydon, Halle, and Lilly. Marvin will also be missed by his cousin Violet Hurley (Brian), numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. As per Marvin’s wishes, there will be a private family graveside service held at Barrie Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst.
