DEL BUONO, Nicola ‘Nick’ – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicola ‘Nick’ Del Buono at Millennium Trail Manor on Friday November 17, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 66 years to Pasqualina (Zarra) Del Buono. Loving father of Angelo, Jenny and Anna. Cherished grandfather of Robert (Jessie), Jason (Erin), Taylor (Jerica) and Karley and great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Isabella, Declan and Killian. Dear brother of Anna Del Buono of Argentina and brother-in-law of Lucia (the late Joseph) Del Buono, Vito (Rosa) Zarra and Ernesto Zarra. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Del Buono had a long career in the construction industry, and worked on many notable projects including the Thorold tunnel, G.N.G.H. Hospital and the Skylon Tower. Family and friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at St. Ann’s Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Mr. Del Buono, donations to Heart Niagara would be appreciated by his family.
