Death Notice
It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Charlie Stevens on Friday, November 17, 2017, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital at the age of 73. Beloved husband and best friend of Stella. Loving father of Sherrie (Greg) Dunham and Chuck (Jacqui) Stevens. Cherished grandfather of Kyla (Tim) Nolan, Amber (Mark) Henry, Justin (Stacey) Dunham, Dylan and Dorrien. Treasured great-grandfather of Sadie, Brody, Declan, and Saoirse, all of whom he was very close to. Dear brother of Marilyn (Ken) Rowe and Charlene (Raymond) Tulpin. Remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Dorothy Stevens and by his brother Rick. Charlie loved snowmobiling, golfing and spending winters in Texas camping. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. Charlie will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Autism Speaks or Noelle’s Gift (cheques only at the funeral home please).
Visitation
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Service
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior.
Donations
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Autism Speaks or Noelle’s Gift (cheques only at the funeral home please).
