Boucher, Marie Jean, age 82, of
Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough and formerly of Cape
Jack passed away on November 15, 2017 in St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital, Antigonish,
Born in Frankville she was a daughter
of the late Anthony and Bridget (Casey) Fougere and raised by the late
Charles and Virginia (Fougere) Carpenter.
Marie will always be remembered for her strength, faith and
generosity.She displayed a deep love for her family. She
loved baking, knitting, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and trying her luck
at the casino.
She is survived by her children:
Charles (Diane), Calgary; Deborah (Gary) Brow, Havre Boucher; Anthony
(Kathy), Calgary; Ramona (Steve) MacAskill, Halifax; Brenda (Richard)
Hanlon, Linwood; Patricia (Dale) DeCoste, Edmonton; Francine (Allan)
MacQuarrie, Halifax; Gregory (Sheryl), Antigonish; son-in-law, Gordon
Cameron, Sydney; grandchildren, Angela, Christopher, Janessa, Kendra,
Melissa, Nicole, Devin, Lindsay, Jeremy, Jordan, Corey, Gaelan, Tara,
Madison, Quentin, Sarah, Neil, Victoria, Amanda, Brendan, Megan,
Rylan, and Emma; and 15 great grandchildren; sister in law, Alice
Fougere, Powell River, B.C.
She was predeceased by her husband
William John Boucher; daughter, Marjorie Cameron; son, Leonard in
childbirth; sister, Marjorie Fougere; brothers, Benjamin and Leonard;
step brothers: Stanley and Joseph Carpenter and step sisters: Bernice
Webb, Bernadette MacDonald and Hazel DeYoung.
Visitation will be in St.
Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher on Sunday, November 19th from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be in St. Paul’s
Church on Monday at 11:00 am with Reverend Allan MacPhie presiding.
Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
