Obituary for Regina Murphy
Murphy, Regina M. (nee Halley)
September 28, 1944 – November 14, 2017
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by her husband, Patrick J. Murphy (September 27, 2008), her parents Alex & Marion Halley, her brothers Alex and Steven. Leaving to mourn her sons Steve (Clare), Don (Michelle), Robert (Georgia), Sean (Tina), 11 grandchildren (Sara, Nicolas, Kyle, Rebecca, Robert, Jordan, Chris, Megan, Brooklyn, Brooke and Meghan), 4 great-grandchildren (Sophia, Brianna, Lilly, and Hudson), sisters Eleanor and Edna, brothers Dave and Stan, special friend Dot, and many other family and friends. Many thanks to the super-exceptional staff of St. Clare’s Hospital. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, 1pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10am from St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, Kelligrew’s. Interment following in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, 2292 Topsail Road, Topsail. No flowers by request, donations in Regina’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NL Heart and Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice.
