Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Brigitte (nee Helm). Dear father of Karen Whiteman (John Tenbult), Sandra (Mike Nolan) and Andrew (Tracy Armstrong). Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren; Taylor and Jordan Whiteman, Dean and Victoria Nolan, Aidan, Grasyn and Callum Eiselt and the late Shane Nolan. Also survived by his loving sister Gerda and cousin Ruth both of Germany. Friends may visit at the
Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes

(between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.)
on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital or the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
