Donald Allan Wolanick – 1955 – 2017

1955 – 2017
Obituary for Donald Wolanick
Wolanick, Donald
December 8th, 1955 – November 12th, 2017
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Donald Allan Wolanick at the age of 61. Donald passed away after a brave battle with cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Dawn and his 6 children, Doug (Jackie), Jennifer, Devin, Chris, Deacon, Samantha and 2 beautiful grandchildren Sophie and Kaiden. He also leaves behind his sister Pat and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Don spent half of his career working in the Utility Industry in Distribution and Transmission. He spent the other half as an Energy Specialist developing large Co-Generation projects. Don enjoyed his work and those he worked and laughed with.
Don’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his wife exploring the world. They visited many countries and had many grand adventures together.
At his request there will be no service.
Don asks that you spend time with your families, have an adventure or two and make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be so grateful if you would light a candle or share your favourite stories and photos of Don at www.choicememorial.com. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services (403) 277-7343.
Order Flowers
