Semkowicz, Mary (nee Koziski)
Peacefully at Macassa Lodge, Mary Semkowicz passed away on November 13, 2017. Mary was born in Ituna, Saskatchewan on the 1st of March, 1920. She was one of thirteen children born to Maxim and Mary Koziski. Beloved wife of the late Michael Semkowicz. Loving sister of Olga Boyda (Michael), Anne Nelson (the late Raymond), of BC, Teresa Diakow (the late Peter) of BC and Nestor Koziski of Manitoba. Predeceased by her sisters Adeline Korchinski, Rose Mudry, Julia Neslon and brothers John, Joe, Peter, Mike, and Stan. Survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mary was a long -time member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection. Family will received friends at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Thursday, November 16th from 6-9pm. Panachyda will be said on Thursday at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, 821 Upper Wentworth St., on Friday, November 17th at 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
