Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Wednesday, November 9, 2017 at the age of 84. Davina is now reunited with her beloved husband Bill (2012). Devoted mother of Katherine Walker Lievense (Peter) and Bill Walker Jr. Cherished grandmother of Dana and Devan Schlosser, and Jade (Craig) and Genevieve Jones-Walker and cherished mother-in-law of Stephanie Jones. Loving great grandmother of Daphanie and Caia. Dear sister of Betty Gould of Hamilton and Midge Leaist (Dave) of Flesherton.
Predeceased by brother Stewart and sister-in-law Gale and sister June and brother-in-laws Harry and Jack. Davina will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Davina was a long time member of Kirk on the Hill, a graduate of Niagara College and a kitchen designer for Elmwood Kitchens. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Port Colborne Hospital for their care, especially Stacey and Maryanne. Friends and family will be received at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Friday, November 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to honour and celebrate the life of Davina will take place at Kirk on the Hill Presbyterian Church, 1344 Haist Street, Fonthill on Saturday November 18th at 11:00 am. A private interment of her and her husband will take place at Pleasantview Cemetery on a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
